With Africa ready to converge on Cameroon from January to February, thanks to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021) being hosted by Cameroon, it offers an opportunity for tourism promoters to showcase the various African tourist destinations.
It is in this light that a project christened βAVIATOUR Meet-up Africa & Expo will take place in Douala in the Bonanjo Party Hall, beginning January 8 to February 9, 2022.
According to the promoter of βAVIATOUR Meet-up Africa & Expoβ, Fadimatou Noutchemo Simo, who is a Cameroonian aviation expert, the expo will allow visitors from far and wide to discover tourism, culture, gastrononmy and African fashion through recreational meetings.β
Speaking at a recent press conference at City Zen Hotel in Douala, Fadimatou said there is need to βdiscover African Travel Destinations through tourism, culture, culinary, sports in their diversity.β
During the event, video projections of the regions and Africa as a whole will be done to enhance the knowledge of the visitors. The event will be organized in partnership with the Littoral Regional Delegation of Tourism and Leisure and visitors will be welcomed daily from 10am to 12pm.
Partners of the project include: Africa Excellence Magazine, Young African Aviation Professional Association (YAAPA), Ethiopian Airlines, ASKY and NKP Academy, whose reprensentatives assisted Fadimatou in responding to questions from Journalists at the press conference.
