Death toll of Mbankolo disaster now stands at 30.

Since the occurrence of the flood disaster in Mbankolo, Yaounde- Cameroon on 8th October 2023 authorities have been giving assistance to the victims.

The latest assistance has come from the Head of State president Paul Biya in the form of mattresses, soap, buckets, some food items, medications, etc.

Amidst condolences, some government officials have visited the site of the disaster;

President Biya’s first son, Frank Biya also answered present at the scene to sympathise with the victims as well as Cameroon’s Ministers of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul and Housing and Urban Development Celestine Coutes Ketcha. The Governor of the Centre Region, Nasari Paul Bea also made a stop at the scene to evaluate the situation.

Yaounde Arch Bishop, Jean Mbarga also visited the site and promised help to the disaster victims.
