U.S. immigration authorities have detained a 53-year-old Nigerian man in Los Angeles linked to prior sexual offence convictions.
According to the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) unit, officers arrested Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo on April 21. The agency stated he has a criminal history involving child molestation, sexual battery, and solicitation of lewd acts, and is now in custody awaiting removal proceedings.
A video released by authorities shows the suspect in handcuffs being escorted from an ICE vehicle, with narration identifying him as a Nigerian citizen and convicted offender.
Officials confirmed he remains detained by immigration services pending deportation.
