As the world continues to commemorate Pink October, Clear Radiology performed its duty of giving back to the community through a breast cancer awareness campaign. The event, held at the environs of the health care facility today, began with a street walk from the Molyko Omnisport Stadium to the health center, where a series of activities were conducted.
The campaign featured talks from health practitioners and survivors, as well as a 20-minute sports activity, all aimed at promoting breast cancer awareness.
Under the theme “Every story is unique, Every Journey matters,” the campaign highlighted the individual experiences of those affected by breast cancer. The event provided a platform for participants to learn about breast cancer, its risks, and the importance of early detection.
Ngwa Lucy expressed her gratitude for the information shared during the event, stating that she had gained insightful knowledge on breast cancer.
The activities of the campaign which ran up till October 2025, emphasised the importance of knowing one’s body and risks, early screenings, early detection, and self-examinations in order to save lives.
Moreover , the message was clear, breast cancer awareness is key to saving lives. By sharing their stories and experiences, survivors and health practitioners aimed to empower participants to take control of their health.
